ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

JANITORIAL

Jurisdiction: PIATT COUNTY
Wages:
Day Janitor $18.47/Hour
Night Janitor $19.41/Hour
Health & Welfare: $497.00/Month, for employees scheduled 25 or more hours per week.
Pension: 13.26% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more
hours annually.
Vacation: Twelve (12) month employees shall be entitled to the following hourly
equivalent days:
After one year 2 Weeks
After 2 years 3 Weeks
After 15 years 4 Weeks
After 20 years 5 Weeks
20+ Years *5 Weeks plus
*5 Weeks plus 1 day for each year above 20 to a maximum not to exceed 6 weeks.
These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code. Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
