ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

Jurisdiction:                   CALHOUN

 

Wages:                         Head Cook:                                         $9.68/Hour

Cook:                                                   $9.01/Hour

 

Health & Welfare:         $322.74/Month for employees working 8 or more hours per day.

 

Pension:                        10.05% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more  hours annually.

 

Vacation:                      Must be scheduled to work a minimum of 35 hours to be eligible:

 

                                    Years 1 – 5                                          10 Days

                                    Years   6 – 15                                      12 Days

                                    16+ Years                                            15 Days

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for food service workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
