Wages:                         Janitor              Start                             $12.00/Hour                                                                                        Year 2                          $12.15/Hour

                                                            Year 3                          $12.60/Hour

                                                            Year 4+                    $15.85/Hour

 

Shift differential for full-time employees of $.15/hour for 2^nd shift, beginning after noon, and $.20/hour for 3^rd shift, beginning after 10:00 p.m.

 

Health & Welfare:            For individuals scheduled 6 or more hours per day.

 

Single                                                            $328.20/Month

Employee + 1 Dependent                        $424.12/Month

                                    Family                                                  $458.12/Month

 

Pension:                        9.9% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more hours annually.

                                   

Vacation:                      For 12 month positions, employees receive pay at hourly equivalent days.

 

                                    After 1 Year                                         10 Days

                                    After 11 Years                                              15 Days

                                    After 18 Years                                              20 Days

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
