Wages:                         Janitor                                                  $  9.35/Hour

                                    Foreman                                              $10.10/Hour

 

Health & Welfare:            For individuals in positions scheduled 30 or more hours per week:

                                                                         

                                    Single                                                   $   464.38/Month

                                    Employee + one                                   $   721.71/Month

                                    Married w/spouse                               $   787.22/Month

                                    Family                                                  $1,146.71/Month

 

Pension:                        9.62% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more

                                    hours annually.

 

Vacation:                      All employees shall earn vacation as follows paid at hourly equivalent days

 

Start – 4 Years                                                10 Days

For each additional year of service, add one day up to a maximum of 20 days.

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
