Jurisdiction:                   IROQUOIS COUNTY

 

Wages:                         JANITOR:                              $8.67/Hour

                                    HEAD JANITOR:                   $9.45/Hour

                                                                                                                                               

Health & Welfare:            $381.00/Month for individuals in positions scheduled 20 or more hours per week.

 

Pension:                        8.32% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more hours annually.

Vacation:                      For employees in positions scheduled 20 or more hours per week paid at hourly equivalent days per the following schedule:

                                   

                                                After 1^st year               5 days

                                                After 2^nd year                        10 days

                                                After 5^th year             12 days

                                                After 10 + years            15 days

 

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
