ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

 

JANITORIAL

Jurisdiction:                   LEE COUNTY

 

Wages:                         Head Janitor:                         $9.65/Hour

                                    Janitor:                                     $7.55/Hour

 

Health & Welfare:            Employees working 25 or more hours per week

                                    $444.71/month

 

Pension:                        7.70% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more hours annually.

 

Vacation:                      For individuals in positions scheduled 8 hours per day:

 

After 1^st year                                    10 Days

                                    After 10^th year                                   15 Days

                                    After 20^th year                                   20 Days

 

 

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
