ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

 

JANITORIAL

Jurisdiction:                   MENARD COUNTY

 

Wages:                         Janitor:                                     $10.95/Hour

 

Health & Welfare:            $410.56/Month for employees scheduled to work twenty (20) hours or more per week.

 

Pension:                        8.57% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more hours annually.

 

Vacation:                      Full-time employees’ vacation based on the following formula:

 

                                                1-5 years of service             2 weeks

                                                6-12 years of service             3 weeks

                                                13 or more years                   4 weeks

 

 

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
