ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

 

JANITORIAL

Jurisdiction:                   MONROE COUNTY

 

Wages:                         JANITOR:                  Start                             $13.89/Hour

                                                                        After 180 days                      $16.75/Hour

                                                                                                                                               

                                                                       

Health & Welfare:            $438.50/Month for employees in positions scheduled 4 or more hours per day.

 

Pension:                        11.43% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more hours annually.

 

Vacation:                      Employees in 12 month positions shall receive vacation days as follows paid in hourly equivalent days:

 

                                    After 1 year                                5 Days

                                    After 2 years                            10 Days

                                    After 8 years                            15 Days

                                    After 12 years                                   20 Days

 

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
