Wages:                         JANITOR:      Start                 $15.72/hour

                                                            2^nd year            $16.39/hour

                                                            3^rd year            $17.36/hour

                                                            4^th year             $18.32/hour

                                                                                                                                               

Health & Welfare:            For individuals in positions scheduled 36 or more hours per week:

 

                                    Employee only:             $412.00/month

                                    Employee + 1:                          $850.00/month

                                    Family:                         $918.00/month

 

Pension:                        11.47% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more hours annually.

 

Vacation:                      For individuals in positions scheduled 40 hours per week:

 

            1 full year – 3 full years                        10 days

                                                4 full years – 10 full years                15 days

                                                After 11 full years                              20 days

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
