ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

 

JANITORIAL

Jurisdiction:                   WHITESIDE COUNTY

 

Wages:                         Janitor                                      $  9.15/Hour

                                    Head Janitor                          $10.09/Hour

                                                           

Health & Welfare:            For individuals employed 30+ days and in positions scheduled 20 hours or more per week.

 

                                    Single                                       $461.48/Month

                                    Family                                      $927.52/Month

                       

Pension:                        8.72% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more hours annually.

                                   

Vacation:                      Employees in positions scheduled 20 hours or more per week shall receive the following hourly equivalent paid vacation days:

 

                                    After 6 months              3 days

                                    After 1^st year                            5 days

                                    After 2^nd year                           10 days

                                    After 5^th year                            15 days

                                    After 10^th year                          20 days

 

 

 

These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code.  Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
