ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

JANITORIAL

Jurisdiction: FULTON COUNTY
Wages:
Janitor: $12.31/Hour
Head Janitor: $12.46/Hour
Health & Welfare: For employees in positions scheduled 25 hours or more per week, the
employer shall pay $75.83/month.
Pension: 8.67% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more
hours annually.
Vacation: Five days for individuals in positions scheduled 8 hours per day:
     Other individuals accumulate vacation days at the rate of one (1)
day for every eighty (80) hours worked up to a maximum of five (5)
days per year.
These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code. Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
