ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

JANITORIAL

Jurisdiction: JACKSON COUNTY
Wages: Janitor                         $8.75/Hour
Health & Welfare: $552.56/month for individuals in positions scheduled 32 hours per
week.
Pension: 9.81% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more
hours annually.
Vacation: Individuals scheduled 8 hours per day shall earn vacation time in
accordance with the following schedule:
1 - 3 Years 10 days
4 - 6 Years 11 days
7 - 9 Years 12 days
10 - 12 Years 13 days
13 - 15 Years 14 days
16 - 19 Years 15 days
20+ Years 20 days
These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code. Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
