ILLINOIS PREVAILING WAGE RATES

JANITORIAL

Jurisdiction: UNION COUNTY
Wages: Janitor           $12.26 Per Hour
Health & Welfare: $216.67 per month for individuals in postions scheduled 20 or more
hours per week.
Pension: 10.61% of gross for individuals in positions scheduled 600 or more
hours annually.
Vacation: Employees in positions scheduled 40 hours per week shall receive 10
vacation days annually after one year of employment.
These wage rates and fringe benefits are determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to be conditions prevalent in the state of Illinois and shall be the minimum requirements for janitorial workers under the Illinois Finance Procurement Code. Retroactive reimbursement is required if less than the prevailing wage was paid at any time.
